Just add these settings and try with different multi and CPU voltage. Leave other volt-settings on auto, and watch the temps ofcourse.

I hope you got a better chip than me though.

    Hey All,

I'm new to this forum, but have been a OC nut since the days of wiring my Eheim pump to the wall:-) I have a question about the SB since I've been playing around with settings for the past week. I've read several guides and I've correlated what all of them agree on and I have my rig running at 4.5GHz stable. Since I started out with the B2 stepping I was able to compare it against the B3. With the B2 mobo, I was able to hit 4.5 @ 1.32vcore. With the B3, I had to go up a notch to 1.33vcore. From reading the guides, it looks like 1.33v is high for just 4.5. Here are my specs:

    ASUS P8P67 Deluxe B3
    2600K
    GSkill RipJaws 2 x 4GB 1600
    Crucial C300 64GB SSD (for the O/S)
    WD 1TB Sata 6GB/sec
    MSI 560 Ti
    Corsair 850watt PSU
    HAFX
Custom H20: Enzotech CPU block, Black Ice Pro 240, D4 pump, and a DD res in a 1/2 ID loop

Temps hit 67C in Prime95. I used LLC = High, everything else is AUTO or stock except for vcore = 1.33v. Any suggestions? I don't think I want to push 4.7GHz since based on my calculations, I'll need to bump vcore to 1.37, maybe 1.38v. The temps would probably go over 70C.

I'm assuming 1.33v is in the BIOS....so what is the voltage in the Windows when the Turbo kick in?

    the voltage range is from 1.3 - 1.4v for 4.3 - 4.8Ghz is the norm for 2600K

You do know the Vcore depend on the certain batch of chip, some require higher than other.

1.33v is in the BIOS and at idle in windows CPU-Z. It drops to 1.272 to 1.28 under load. Yeah I know batches are different and some of you are lucky:-) I'm never that lucky. I get all the challenging batches.

    Hi Goat.

Things have changed since we last spoke. They had no more P8P67 deluxe so i also got the M4EB3

Pressed one button and it went up to 4.6ghz with out a snitch at 1.3v. Just wondering ,did u manage to hit the 5.0ghz milestone. If so can u please post your settings.

    Regards

I'm getting the last parts for my new build in mail today, so I haven't had a chance to test the M4E yet.
But I'm gonna try the same settings when I get it running.

If I'm lucky I'll be up and running by the weekend. I'll post results when I get em.

    Hi guys

Need some help. It seems when i run my 2133mhz ram at 2133mhz speed i get BSOD at some times during the day,not always. Its random. But if i down clock the ram to 1866mhz its stable. is there something else that needs to be tuned to make running at 2133mhz stable?

    Thx

mabey some more voltage, but you won't see a difference between 1866 and 2133 so why bother really go with stabillity IMO.
