    Default finally stable!

    hey folks

just finished an 9 hour run of Prime95, and i'm pretty happy with the temps. averaged about 68-69c, with a peak of 72c in one core six hour into the run. after what i've read i guess i can call this oc profile somewhat stable right?

i just wanted to share this, and take the opportunity to thank everyone in this forum, and the community for all the help i've recieved. there's a ton of knowledge and knowhow here, and i recommend this forum to everyone i know who's into this stuff.
maybe i finally enter the 4ghz club?

    thanks again guys

    Thanks, dude.

i know my ram is a little underclocked, but this way is more stable at lower voltage and thus lower temps. i think when christmas comes i'll get a new graphics card, and the rig's gonna do fine.

I think you are good to go, temps look about right too.

One more last check, just run 3DMark11 to see if your system crash or not, sometime the system may pass the P95 but fail 3DMark.

Don't worry about the RAM, you wouldn't notice the performance different with your current speed vs it's stock speed.

Not always true Jim, every OC and system is different, many people have passed prime, and then had problems with 3DMark, so Tony was correct.
