LN2 was a fail. Could not get past 5.4GHz so either the cold bug got me or the board. Who knows. The board overclocked under water as good as any so I am somewhat baffled. We gradually brought temps down too. I just wish it was easy to change boards when doing LN2( it is impossible due to condensation and re lining a board). I could have used the Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe which I used with Dry Ice and got 6.1GHz out of the chip........ Ohh well. This is my second fail at LN2. Will try again soon.

Nope. Asus only and I did not need it with ASUS. it is if you cool it too fast and cold bug sets in

I think you might have had it a little too cold.. I am sure if you got the temps just right you can go higher.... Try again Jimbo!! I am sure you can hit higher clocks...
I am not brave enough to venture into DICE or LN2 yet.. but one day!

It just may be the chip. The chip I did Dice on was not the same. Stan remembered and emailed me............ I had the same problem with a 2600K. Could not get it to boot at anytrhing over 5GHz.
