Default New Build, need some OC and score validation.

    Hey guys!

Just wanted to share some info with you

Soon I will begin my Little Devil White build, and before I set the whole thing under water in the case I have set up a testsystem in order to check all the parts and their overclockability.
    Its a Maximus V Formula
GTX 680 Lightning (SLI as soon as the second one comes) with EK Blocks
    3770K
16GB 2133 MHZTeamGroup Xtreem CL9 RAM (in the pictures I was still using my test Vengeance Modules for easier Post)
Couple of SSDs, etc. got blocks for everything, 2x480 rads, 1x120 rad... so on....and really gonna watercool here.

    Here some pics:

So far I have overclocked the 3770K to 4.7GHZ with a little headroom downwards in terms of Vcore.
Also I did a 1h Full Load Stress Test with AIDA64 as recommended by JJ, so check out the temps (They normally donīt go over 50C at 4.7GHZand rather stay within the 40-30C range):

And lastly a AIDA Benchmark of the 2133MHZ CL9 Teamgroup Xtreem Kit.
I am very satisfied with that RAM, what do you think about the score?
The best latency I have yet had was at 31.5 and Copy/Write usually max at about 200 more on each.

    Thanks guys

Actually I have really been searching for moderately cheap RAM, with good timings and frequency.

I bought this 16GB 2133MHZ CL9-11-11-28 1.5V Kit for 157€ from OverclockerS.uk because of the very good specs/1.5V and must say that it really rocks.

Pretty much any other Kit with similar specs is 1.65V and I just donīt wanna take a chance with the IMC.
The TridentX Modules were my first choice, but unfortunately 1.65V.
I am pretty satisfied with the AIDA Score, still I am tweaking it, so far I have overclocked them to 2400MHZ with 1.52V.
What do you think, does the RAM score compare to others?

Really nice RAM Kit, moderately cheap compared to Corsair Platinum & Co but very nice specs, performance and especially overclockability.
TeamGroup claims they cherrypick the Chips for their Xtreem series.

I have been really amazed at how cool my 3770K sample stays, cause I have been hearing a lot of negativity regarding heat with the new die shrink and heatspreader of Ivy.
I got 5 chips on sample, will test them all, and keep the best overclocker

Attempting 5GHZ with my little 480rad/Koolance 370 Test cooling setup today.

Yeah ive been looking at the Tridents,Avexir Core Series and the Xtreem Kit, im still undecided but i think your post is swaying me more toward the Xtreem Kit! 2400MHZ with 1.52V WOW ,thats a damn good kit!
How the heck did you get 5 3770k samples? Well ill tell you your pretty lucky than ,most everyone has the overheating problem. so bad im considering de-lidding my CPU!

That is actually the second benefit of low profile Voltage Memory within Intel Spec of 1.5 - 1.56V aside from protecting your IMC in a long term view.

Because if you get a high frequency kit of for example 2133MHZ CL9 rated for 1.5V, then overclocking it to 2400MHz and further, with less volts, wonīt be so hard in terms of raising volts since it is already rated for 2133 at 1.5V.

The TridentX which is also available for 2133 CL9 is already at 1.65V, and even though sometimes you can reduce the volts a little, overclocking them to the next step is a lot harder.

In terms of the 3770K not heating up yet, I think every chip has its individual point of a heat barrier, and I am certain that eventually I will hit it as well
4.7GHZ is nothing though, I at least wanna get it to 5GHZ stable.
Yesterday I attempted 5GHZ with two 3770K chips and both needed about 1.35V which is too high for my taste.
Temps were still in mid 50s but I just wanna have that golden chip, so today I will test the other three.
I actually got two 3770Ks at CES from the sub stands.
On the last day the lead guy from the Asrock booth was drunk I believe and handed out the models after they were done having them on test display.
One I bought myself and the other two I got very cheap off ebay.

With my 1155 system I really wanna have a golden chip.

Lastly regarding my AIDA score, I believe that the Xtreems have pretty good Latency, but my Read and Copy still suck.
At 2400 they rise, but the latency drops, even though the timings remain the same.
I guess when the CPU clock rises further it will take up the RAM scores as well, but I will leave it at 2133 because of the latency.

1.35v for 5GHz? That's nothing! That is an awesome chip. 1.35v under water will not kill it any time soon.

Do any of you even use AIDA for RAM Speed testing or Mem86?
Cause I canīt really find sores to compare to on the net.

Did you miss the screen with the AIDA Benchmark?
I will provide a Cinebench run as soon as I got 100% stable 5GHZ, it turned out that 1.35V werenīt fully stable for the first two chips.

The reviews are fine, but I wanted to compare my Read/Write/Lateny speeds with some of you guysī

I think I know why you canīt provide AIDA scores, could it be that you are just using MaxMem for RAM speed scores?
Doesnīt matter just give me some of your scores, cause I wanna know if I can hold up to you guys

I do not have the time to go searching through memory reviews for you, you want the socres, so this is something you can do for yourself. I'm currently testing 10 AIO coolers on two different systems, so I do not have the time.

Death I donīt want any review results, I would like you guys to post your Memory scores.

I am for example very interested in how your 32GB sticks perform, but also Solara has nice RAM

Would like to know if my Mem speeds can can even hold up compared to all of yours.
