    Cool P6x58d-e & i7-950

Hey guys, I have got a problem on my hands and the more imtrying to fix it the more confused im getting and frustrated with the damm pc

I have a i7-950 on Asus P6X58d-e mobo, with a H80 watercooler, untill last week when the H80 decided to stop, since then I have had it RMA'd and I have now got the replacement installed, now the fun really begins, as I forgot to write down all my settings from Bios before I had to reset it. The replacement Watercooler is now a H80i.
I had the system running at 3.9ghz for the past 2-3 years stable.
I am after some help as I am just getting confused. any help is appreciated to get my system back up n going

    I have Ripjaws 1600 ram.

    Cheers

why you reset your bios settings when you only RMA the cooler?

Yes, the 4Ghz Club thread contains all the information you need. TBH, the H80i can't really handle the 950 at 4Ghz, unless you disable the HT.

I reset the bios back to stock because I only have a stock cooler that cant handle the 3.9 gig that its been running at, for the past 2 years and in the 10 days that it took to get RMA'd I need to use my machine

and HT isnt a great concern of mine i prefer to have it off anyway

well I have read thru the Guide and i still cant get it right.
