    Default i7 3820 with corsair h75.

    So today I bought a corsair h 75.
For any one starts why diddent you buy a h100i or a h80i, well because my friend had 1 brand new, and I bought him for 50 euro.
I overclocked my cpu to 4.6ghz with a vcore of 1.35 in the bios.
was running prime95 small fft for 20 minutes and this is the result.

Can you post just the temps instead of the whole screen. I can't make out the numbers on the image..

They are ok, but not the best.
Using the H110 on my 4820K OC to 4.4Ghz I top out at around 60-62c under load.
The H70 has a much slimmer set up and smaller radiator.

yes Its not to be compared against a h110 and I,m not using a h70 but the h75.
and you are on 4.4 don't now what vcore u use.
For 4.4ghz I need 1.275 vcore so temps will be lower then.
for the test I was running at 4.6 with a vcore of 1.35v

At 4.4GHz, Vcore is about 1.32volts, the 4820K and 3820 are pretty close in terms of temps. I also have the 3820, but my temps can't be used for comparison since I was on custom water at that time.

I now the 2 cpu,s are pretty close, but is always it depends also a lot of how is your case airflow, what is the ambient temperature and stuff like that and in Holland its warm right now, 28 degrees ambient so pffff.
But al to al its a very good cooler the h75 from corsair, before this 1 I had a cooler master hyper 412s and the difference between the 2 is about 10 degrees.

What would be a good vcore for 24/7 if the temps are okee???
I mean now running 4.6 at a vcore of 1.340 but if I whant to go to lets say 4.7ghz and I would need a vcore of 1.42 is that then oke for 24/7 if I can keep it cool???

It's not a problem staying on VCore 1.42 if you can keep it below 75C by core on full stress (prime 95, OCCT, LinX64, IBT or similar test program), but don't think you can manage that with H75, you'll need better cooler, also I think staying on 4.6GHZ with 1.34 Vcore is OK, going to 4.7GHZ you'll not notice much increase in the performance of your CPU.

So I found my 24/7 and cool enough overclock.

I did a 30 minutes prime95 at blend, intel burn test at very high settings 20 minutes, and linx max settings 20 minutes all run fine.
Oke ofcourse a lot of people go higher but I don't have custom wc, just running a h75, and every 100mhz is extra performance.
I find that stable, for the rest I will see if I run in any problems.

Those Temps and voltages are acceptable. If you do any higher you may need a better cooler.
If you want to be adventurous, you can try dropping the vcore slowly to see how low you can get before it gets unstable.
The lower the vcore the lower the temps.
