Default any chance of a cpu overclocking guide?

any chance of a CPU guide to overclocking done in your reader friendly method ?

did another net search for a simplified one and found the same mess i found with GPU overclocking guides, too many bleeding cooks.
every one i found just looks like an arguement twix wannabe nerds with less brains than sense.

    "do this"....."no,do that"....."no,do this"...."no,do that"

my 3500+ is a popular chip,so you would think there would be a guide somewhere that deals with figures rather than ideas, what if`s or does it`s.

now, once i have prised my nose from your arse...i`ll go look again...maybe i missed a gem in amongst the faeces

well , as soon as i get my case , i will do it , but it is not like GPU OC , because GPU OC has some programms and it isnt too much hard ,
and also for mobo , each brand , like ASUS , GIGA BYTE , ...... has some programme to OC , and they r very good , if u want to use them , then u must have a OC program , it comes in the CD which is bundled with ur MOBO

example : ASUS has got AIBOOSTER , and some other programms
AOPEN (new ones ) has got C.O.O ,
broke rules, don't try and start trouble here with troll like comments.

my gigabyte has easytune...but a few reads say its unstable and unreliable for using to clock.

plus it doesnt explain all the settings to tweak in the bios,ie: fsb and ram timings etc

always use the BIOS, those overclocking tools are just gimmicks. The only software tools that come in useful are when you have boot issues at extreme settings and the board won't boot, then you use software to cranks up the FSB to the limit when in windows.

damn...looks like everyone hates the eastune for gigabyte mobo`s.

time to start experimenting with the bios.

i miss my old AK77-8xn, after 3 years i knew every bios setting off by heart, time to see what the hell all this new stuff is in this board.

i`m getting nowhere trying to overclock the cpu via the mobo bios.

no matter how little adjustment i make the thing just goes round and round at boot with the same message in broken english.

telling me if the system hangs to hit del and adjust bios.

so much for an overclockers delight of a motherboard.
