I messed around with the BIOS options again, and I was able to get get my FSB up to 1800MHz, but that only brought my clock speed up to 3.15GHz (7x multiplier and 450 Bus Speed)

I attempted 1800MHz with an 8x multiplier (with the same 450 Bus), for a clock speed of 3.6GHz, and almos successfully booted into Windows; I got an error at the last possible moment. Should I apply just a little more voltage to the processor? Ie. 1.45v up from the 1.41v that I'm currently applying?

I'm afraid of applying more voltage, because the last time I tried manually setting the voltage to 1.42v on the processor, my computer wouldn't even POST, and I was only attempting a modest overclock, not to mention my fear of frying the processor...

if you're on stock cooling it may not be wise, but if you have a decent third party cooler, 1.45v should be ok.

I have a Thermalright Ultra 120, so it should be fairly adequate, right?
