    Welcome to PureOC,
    what do you mean again....no one helps you from the other forums?
    I can't give you the exact setting because I don't own P5K Deluxe board but I can give you a suggestion.

    You have few choices;
    1. easy way, use AI preset overclocking tool (since you're only want 3.ghz), the board will do all the job for you automaticly.
    2. do manually by increase the FSB in small increments until it won't boot to windows, now start increase Vcore with small increaments until it boot to windows. Use Prime95 or Orthors to do stability test.
    3. visit Maximus Formula club thread, browse it thru, tons of settings & info in there that migh give you some idea for your board. Since it is Asus board.
    4. Last, if you have no luck then post all your bios settings so we can tell what you did wrong
    Good luck!

    Welcome to PureOverclock

    For a start go to the maximus formula thread and start reading through that.....It is big so there is a lot of reading and the settings available to maximus owners are more extensive than for the p5k but most of what you want to learn is there and I think all use the same names.

    The first step will be to enter your RAM voltage and timings (as seen on the lable/packaging) and to begin with set the speed to the lowest available.This will leave you free to start increasing the cpu speed etc.

    There are some tools mentioned such as cpuz which will help you. If you really want to learn to OC I recommend you get Everest for monitoring your voltages and temps.

    Post back here once your questions are more specific

    Good luck...It really isn't as hard to do as you think as long as you read about it first.

    With G0 stepping and your cooling you should hit 3.0ghz no problem. There are 2 ways to OC like Deton said......you can use the presets or do it manually. Presets would probably work for you since 3.0ghz isn't that high of an overclock and the presets should do it without problem.

    Do a lot of reading on overclcocking is my suggestion dont just jump straight into it. Try to understand the basics of it all before you get to brave. Keep us posted and were always here to offer advice and guidance.
