right ill play a bit more with the voltages and then ill move on to ram
is there any other program than everest to check the temps of NB ? cuz everest seems not to be very accurate or lets say i dont trust everest :P

its about 45-50 at idle didint look at stress, also sometimes getting this weird temp sayin my cpu is 120deg lol everest probe nd speedfan shows readings like that however it happens sometimes not always, at the first boot of the pc the reading is about 30-40 deg so the 120one is probs an anomaly or the sensors are messed up

I know what you mean about the NB temp, if that happen to the Ai Probe then it's got to be the mobo sensor. I didn't have much time to play around with MIIF but that's used to happen with Maximus Formula board, especially when the ambient or case temp really hot.
I think your NB temp is about right with passive sinks cooler.

deton how should i lower down the voltages?
my current ones are:
Vcpu 1.25
cpu vtt 1.25
cpu pll 1.60
nb 1.25
should i just do it by 1 on all of them or do each separately ?

try with the Vcore first, bring it downs a notch or two at a time. If you can keep Vtt high then you don't need high Vcore. TBH, 1.25v at your current is pretty good but as Ocer we always try to get highest Mhz with lowest voltage if we can.

ok probablt it be easier to OC the cpu instead of lookin for the lowest voltage![]()

im new here and just happened to see this thread...
my idle temp for cpu is around 26-30 idle...i noticed that my nb temp is around 51-54 at idle and sb temp at 46-48 idle...
do you think my temps are ok?

Deton
how did jmilo managed to get up to 4ghz with such a low temps :O is his cooler much better than 120 extreme? with 2 fans on it :O

Jmilo,
your voltages look pretty darn good @ 4ghz compared to the overclocked bios table in post #2. Have you do any stability stress test yet?
The temps look normal now, you gained back 5c for NB/SB after the little mod huh
Well, I haven't see your inside case so I don't know if you need case air flow improvement or not but if you want to drop the NB temp, you can install Antec spot fan, maybe it will improves 1-3 degrees.
By the way, the reported temps with side case open or close?
Just remember this, those temps will raise when summer comes or your room heat up unless you regulating the ambient temp with AC.

yeh i do have 2 fans 1600 and 1200 :|nd both of them blows the same way towards the fan that blows out all the hot air
