are these load temp or idle?

1.26v for 4.1ghz is pretty good
what is your VID for the proc?

    There's a template for 4.4ghz, try it.

    Hi Guys,

It is my first post so hello every body.

I am MF2 user. One is on my desk waiting to be sent back - it has MB sensor which shows 94C... and it is bowed as hell.

Second is flying to me as we speak.

By any chances anyone knows where MB sensor is located? - I asked Asus support and guess what after 2 weeks they replayed - location of MB sensor is TOP SECRET <rofl>.

Just to prevent from asking - I did washer mode and applied MX2 on everything what required it MB sensor shows between 70 - 95 it is either stuck or due to bended Mobo it has such a poor contact with anything that is cooling it.

Will get back with info when I got new MF2

    Cheers

EDIT: Imilo do not get me wrong - but as far as Idle temps are usefully and informative what really interests most of the ppl is your Stress temps. Pls post them.

@ Sebna, good hardware you have there , good question about MB sensor though. I never bother that sensor as much as CPU or NB. I guess have to look into it. Have you try to post this question in Asus forums?

BTW, which program did you use to do the temps reading?
I notice Everest beta version don't read correctly sometimes, especially when you do the load stress as the ambient temp heating up. It happened with my Maximus Formula, MB temp jumped over 200c...LOL.

The bottom line is I don't think you can't fix the sensor, they're probably embeded in the circuit. I don't think it is a probe or wire that ticking out so you can fix it.

When you get your new board back, try to use more than two different monitor program to make sure that is not the program bug.

Thanks m8, your HW is even more impressive but I guess I dont have to tell you this .

Anyway - that is good idea to test it with different soft. I was using Probe to do read out temps and bios. Both show straight from boot on 18C ambient 70 to 94C... so something is wrong here It might be stuck, but it is moving like alive .

For one day or so I will have to MF2 in house so I will have chance to compare - hope my new one will not be bended as first one.

    Thanks for advice.

PS I did not posted anything on asus forums.

Ok, I've a quick searched Asus forums and there are no relating issue about MB temp, but they do have NB temp issue though. Hopefully the new mobo won't have this problem.

Thanks for checking it for me Deton.

New board is here - MB sensor is showing normal temps but NB and SB are 50 idle at stock speeds Cooling needs reseating it will be done today probably.

Unfortunately it is bended even more then the first one Cheers Asus .

I will give it a try - if it is going to fail my expectations I will go for UD3P as it looks like ASUS is making joke from him self and those almost 200 boards.

NB/SB temps will better after you add on washers.

    What is bend, the heatpipe?
Can you take a picture and show us?

Bended is Mobo itself. Pls zoom to take a closer look on miniature it does not look that bad.

This is picture of old one - new one is little more bended/curved? but the difference is just slight.

Yes washers mode will be done today also MX2 will go were it needs to. It would be done yesterday but I run out of Izopropyl. After dismounting cooling i discovered that maybe 1/4 of SB was covered with TIM at all NB looks fine but probably contact is poor.

Today I have Christmas party in my comp. so I might postpone test till tomorrow. Will keep you updated guys.

    ThX for all help.

Your welcome, so you were talking about mobo warpping, that's common because of heatpipe. If you don't over tighten it.

What you can do is start tighten the screws from NB first but do not completely tight the screw down, now move to the upper mosfet sink, next SB then left mosfet sink. Keep alternative like that until you complete tight down all the screws. This technique help distribute the pressure evenly around the heatpipe, and don't over tight the mosfet sinks because it has no backplate therefore it very easy warp the mobo.

  15. The following user thanks Deton For this above post:

    Will try it.

BTW what do you think about 94C on MB sensor straight after boot and constant + - 2C through stress testing - do you think it might be real?
