You were asking for a step-by-step guide and it's hard to give you one unless one of us have the exact identical hardware as your or similar, to guide you through the process.
Each brand of mobo use different bios settings, different terminology and I'm not familar with Gigabyte board therefore I have no idea what setting to tell you to do or where to go.

I know you are new to this but have you try to do it by yourself yet or you just looking
    for the easy out?

Perhaps you can post the complete your mobo bios settings and tell us what you did wrong, maybe we can help, hopefully.

The thing is my procesor is still not arrived to me. It will come 24.1. so I cant tell anything and cant try anything yet by myself. The rest of the hardvare is here with me but without the processor everything is still packed in boxes and put in closet waiting for procesor and for assamble.

well, in the mean time I think you should google try to find is there any overclocking info about your mobo first or anything relating overclocking the Q9550. This proc will have no problem to give you 3.8ghz.

Since you new to this (overclocking) I advice you to read at much information about overclocking first so you understand the fundamental of overclocking then when you get your feet wet, it will be brezze.

I don't forget to post your board bios settings when you have your rig going. Hopefuly, we will have a member have the same board as you come by.

Yes, read as much as you can until your processor arrives and you get the new system built. Then get it running, post your information here and we can help you out!
