Default Help with Athlon II x4 620

Could I get some help with the best way I'm suppose to go about this, I tried changing the clock speed, and it works, but when I next start the computer up it says Warning computer in safe mode, reset clockspeed in cmos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lastnight it was running at 216, everything was stable according to intelburntest, now it isn't happy above 205, comes up with that message if I try to go higher.

    Hey, welcome to Pure OC!

Ok, that DXDIAG info doesn't help us as much as we'd like. Would you kindly fill out your system specs in your user profile and set them to be publicly viewable?

Would you kindly let us know which RAM kit you have, along with rated speed and timings?

How were your temps, by the way?

okay updated my profile a bit. Here is a picture of temperature at the end of a maximum test by intelburntest.
Setup as posted in the cpu-z pic above.

    And thanks for the invite

    Ok, great.

Your RAM might not like to be OC'd, so try dropping your divider next time, it'll make your RAM run more slowly, but if it can't take the clocks, then it has to be done.

It it doesn't work when you do that, then increase the voltage to your processor. Make sure you keep HyperTransport as close to 2GHz as you can, and make sure the CPU-NB is below 3GHz.

So, from here, I'd OC the CPU, set voltage manually to 1.35, and leave everything else (while making sure HT is 2GHz or below). If it boots, then you're golden, just boost HT link and voltage as you need to, if it locks up at some point, then drop the RAM speed and keep tryin.

Find the max safe temp of that chip, and try to keep temps below that point. It ought to be 63C-73C. Check to make sure.

Just took a closer look at your motherboard, and I can't say that I'd expect an awful lot out of it. A new motherboard would do you wonders, tbh. That doesn't look like an OCing board by any means, but that doesn't mean we can't give it a shot.
