Let's see how this goes, and you may get it..........

On a side note, just personal preference.....I don't bother with 4 hours of Prime95 for fully stable. I'm all about speed and stability be dammed

Well it is both a stable and high overclock database/ If you wish not to run your stable OC in prime95 or LinX you do not have to but it can be done overnight. Prime95 does not stress real tough to about 2-1/2 hours whereas LinX can do what Prime95 does in about an hour(IMO).

Patience, young Skywalker. I admire your initiative, but I'm up to my eyeballs with an AMD embargo lift, review editing and publishing, and trying to get things set up this weekend hopefully to run some dry ice and/or liquid nitrogen benching. Also planning on getting at least 3 more gold cups on HWBOT this weekend alone if they update their database to include hardware just released

I can hit 4.5 stable on my Core i7 920 on water no problem. I can also hit 4.8 stable on my Core i7 870 on dry ice, but I won't be running that for hours on LinX, no offense Just waiting to get set up with the Intel and AMD hex-core chips next. I plan on overtaking the lead again for our PureOC HWBOT team

I'm waiting for my Rampage III Extreme and 980X to arrive, then I'll get some sub-zero benching going......probably 2-3 weeks time. Got a date with AMD this weekend, Intel is next on my harem list.

Funny you should say that - I am thinking very seriously of upgrading to a Rampage III board and 980X plus also extending out to running an SSD striped array for speed! I'll also need to upgrade my GPU's to voltage unlocked type cards.

Sigh.......thank god they still print money

Will make the decision over the next week.
