    Default Noise Dampening Recommendations

In my old setup, I was running my WD 74BG Raptor inside my (aluminum) Antec Super LANBoy case which featured rubber cushions on the HDD mounts. I was able to hear the HDD click, but it wasn't that loud. That same HDD is now in my (steel) Antec Nine-Hundred and it sounds noisy as hell as this case has no rubber dampeners in the HDD cage. I just wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for a product that will cut down my HDD noise? Thanks a lot.

These may help, but I don't know because I don't have any of these. but SOMETHING is better than nothing in guess.

You sure your HDD is not about to end its life?

Clicking HDD's one of the symptoms anyway

another thing is that it might not be screwed in enough...i don't think the HDD would be good in one case but almost dead in another. you could see if you hear the clicking in the other case, or just take out out the case and run it on a hard back book and see if it still clicks.
