Default Is the m4 128 the fastest sata 3 drive?

From what I can tell so far the answer is yes! For some reason its faster than even the 512gb drive. I challenge anyone to to show a single sata drive score higher than this

I consider as ssd to be the best benchmark for measuring ssd performance so any other benches especially atto are irrelevant to me.

I think thats up there with the OCZ RevoX2. Unreal how fast this is.

Fast is a nice feature but the stability is what has amazed me the most. Not a single stutter or lock up that I have experienced with the OCZ drives. I am saving up for another of the 256GB M4's to put with this one and see what they will do in RAID.

The prime reason I see most people citing as why they bought the M4 was for stability. I'm sure that before long sites will be re-testing with the new firmware and that will prove a point but for now I see the increases in speed reported as putting it at least on a par with the kingston and ocz drives. There will,as always, be some things that other drives do better but wel.....lets wait for the tests to be published.

(not hinting here Stan, I know you are busy with other reviews..... Honest)
