Hey guys! thank you so much for all those valuable contributions, i just got myself a Corsair Force GT 120gb! That Red drive looks pretty slick
After reading all your inputs especially RAID0 setup, removing windows restore point etc... and Bill Gate's SSD guide on creating a 20gb partition to maintain the condition of the SSD was really helped with the decision making.
Anyway what really simplified the decision was my current 60gb drive performance is absolutely miserable, the sequential write speed is a pathetic 70+mb on crystal mark nothing something to be really proud about. Anyway I'm gonna take this 60gb drive and put it into my Playstation 3 as those drives in the Playstation is stone stuff that should belong in the museum LOL![]()

bullydog do this:
to reclaim some space open cmd and type "powercfg -h off" you will regain as much space as the capacity of your RAM in your case 8gb. Consider turning off page file you most likely do not need it. With those 2 things implimented a windows 7 64bit install is only 7gb

your page file will most likely give you 24gb back based on your ram size but it may be 17gb. then you will notice a much faster shut down / boot up when you turn off page file and a generally more responsive machine.

Also when I disabled indexing I got access denied on a bunch of things. Any way around or doesn't it matter? Also why should you shrink the volume by 20%?
