    Default Samsung SSD 256gb

My friend trying to sell me a pull out Samsung 256gb 2.5" ssd. He said the drive is 4 months old and the asking price is $319. I'm kind of interested because of cheap price. As samsung ssd is not popular in Canada as if in United States, can someone share with me his experience with this ssd?? Thanks guys.

Wait for PureOC member Bill Gates to respond. He is the resident SSD expert. He owns like 50 of them and has probably used this model.

I happen to know for a fact that all the Major laptop manufactorers use Samsung SSDs if you order it , they are probably doing that because the drives are so reliable, I do not know that for a fact, but it just my personal opinion.

If your not in a rush, I have a Samsung coming in for review this week, and I'm pretty sure it's the same exact drive. Most likely the review will not be published until next Monday or Tuesday, but if you want to email me or send me a PM towards the end of the week, I'll let you know what's going on before we publish the review.
That's the best I can do, I can tell you that it lists for over $500, but it also depends what kind of condition it's in. I know you said it's only 4 months old, but why is he selling, and you should question why he's letting it go at close to half price.

Getting back to the sample, I was notified by Samsung that it was shipped out last Friday, but they did not mention if they used Ground, 2nd or 3rd day shipping. I will leave a post when the drive arrives.
    2nd system

    3rd system

ASUS ROG X79 Rampage 4 Formula, 3930K, Boreas Chiller, VisionTek 480GB, WD 750GB, 16GBs Kingston HyperX Red 1600MHz, Two GTX680s, OCZ 1250W, CM Stryker modded for the Boreas Chiller, 3 white Skull fans grills from MNPCTech.

You guys provide me lots of info about this ssd. As suggested by Doctor_Death, I try to delay my purchase for a week or two. I'm looking forward to see the latest review on the Samsung ssd.
