Default Bored at 3 AM so threw an SSD in my old Laptop

Was bored and had 2 of my OZC Vertex 3's Laying around since i switched to Plextor (Way better drives and faster ).

Anyway 3am i couldnt sleep so took out my usb to ide/sata adapter and ran OCZ toolbox quick to erase one of the drives using secure erase. Then used Acronis to clone my slow laptop old 5400 rpm Intel 1.6Ghz dual core Acer with 2 gigs of ddr2 ram. Just for the hell of it. well as i thought ,Shocking results. The laptop is so smooth and nice to use now. Even though its not running sata 3 its still a hell of a increase in real life.

Just thought i would post this in case someone had a really slow Laptop and an extra small SSD. Mines only 60 gig because its usually run in raid 0 with the other.

    Take Care

Just catching up from vacation and saw this. I did the same thing about two weeks ago with an 80gb SSD. The difference blows my mind. This was also my first time using an SSD, which I cant believe took me this long. Then shortly after I won an SSD here from Kingston, that will definitely be gong in the rig I'm building now.
