    Default New SSD

Got another SSD from Big Daddy Stan. It's a Kingston V200 128GB. Using it as a storage drive for my Steam games. It's already full and haven't installed all my games, but got all the important ones on it. Here's a bench mark of the drive and other info:

It scored 500 before I filled it up. LOL

Here's what my Plextor M3 128GB can do. Using it as my OS/App drive.

As you can see, the Plextor is a real beast but the Kingston drive should work great for games. Gonna give it a try right now and see if I notice the difference compared to having my Steam games on a mech drive. Thanks Stan!! You really are the man.

    Default Re: New SSD

This one isn't a review sample. But it's a great drive for the price. It can be had on newegg for under $90. Newegg.com - Kingston SSDNow V200 Series SV200S3D7/128G 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (Desktop upgrade kit)

Just got done playing a little MW3 off the drive and it worked like a charm. Smooth gaming (no loading lags to speak of) and I have the settings cranked. Also the levels load super fast. This drive would work well as an OS/App drive, or for games. Thanks again Stan.

Yep. And cheap too. Would love to have a 256GB version so I could install all my games, but this little drive works great. Can't play more than a few games at a time anyway, right?
