Maybe someone can recommend cheap, but powerful (nothing special, will be used for storage some data, stream movies, etc - general home use) NAS dual HDD server ?
I was looking something like that... ZyXEL NSA325 or QNAP TS-212

I have the NSA320, it pretty good.
I don't see a difference in with the 325 other than the usb 3 port, I would never use it and the 320 is 75 bucks cheaper.
I would recommend it for home use. Just update the OS/firmware first thing.

I really like the Synology ones. I've been considering one for a while to replace the DLInk 343 I have.
The Synology is great also if you need a mobile app capablities, its also linux based which has tons of apps and software to add to it. I have been considering the 4 bay they have. Its just way to expensive right now.
What are your primary goals for the NAS? The Dlink one I have works great for data, however Media, not so well. I get lag for media..
