    Default New Parts, New Needs...

Hello everybody and Happy Holidays! Looks like we must have done something right this year, because, the Big Guy upstairs tossed us a bit of a blessing that took care of some major financial burdens and had enough left over for some new parts, (see specs on side). After a bit of work, got everything going steady now, ran Prime 95 for a few hours and it all works. As noted in the storage specs, it's set to run at Raid 0, actually I jumped the gun on that one. I tried to set up the raid setting during the OS install using a usb key as instructed, no go, UEFI, same, AMD bios section, nada. After a few BSOD's, I am using 1 drive now, however, even though the other is still hooked up, the system doesn't seem to mind. Soooo, how do I set up the drives in Raid 0, properly?

Have you checked out AMDs tool for setting up arrays?

    It's called raid expert:

    Here's the manual: http://www2.ati.com/relnotes/amd_rai..._user_v2.1.pdf

    And here's a good guide:

Are you using Windows? If Yes, go to Disk Management and set up a new mirrored volume, you need to convert to dynamic disk for it to work.
