    CPU: Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz (need to oc to 3.6)
    M/B: P5K Premium Black Pearl
    RAM: Corsair DDR2 800 XMS2
    GPU: XFX 8800 GTS 512 XXX

    Default second HD drive not recognised

    I am installing a second sata II hardrive (750gb Hitachi Deskstar)which appears in the bios but when i go into windows (vista) it does not appear in the my computer section

    My primary HD is a sata 150 western digital raptor x 150 GBif that helps

    any ideas anyone?

    Default

    Go into the control panel, admin tools, computer managment and under storage choose disk managment.

    Right click the new drive and choose format.
