Just Got a Samsung F1 Spin Point 1TB ... Gonna do the benchies soon ...

BTW a side note....will i lose performance if i partition my Samsung 1TB drive? I was thinking...since this Samsung F1 outperforms my Old and Aging Raptor 36gb...i'm thinking to partion it and set some space for my OS and Data probably 40gb ?

    Here's my WD Raptor 36GB

    Min: 43.1
    Max: 62.7
    Average: 55.6
    Burst Rate: 107.3

My Raptor Scores dont seem that impressive do they? Anyway my Boot times are slow...and i'm wondering if this could be the problem? My OS is install on the Raptor...I've read somewhere that with more Ram it can decrease your primary access time by as much as 50% ???

    Samsung SpinPoint F1
    Min: 50.2
    Max: 100.9
    Average: 87.3
    Burst Rate: 96.4

Yeah, the old 36GB Raptors are slow and most HDDs on the market unfortunately will beat it. You will not loose performance if you partition the 1TB hard drive, and put Windows on it.
