    awesome story lol,

But as fuflo said, it's a draw so you have as much chance as any of winning

    Great post though!

    Noooo, it's all true!

Well, ok, maybe I embellished certain parts here and there. You know. For dramatic purposes.

Plus I didn't have anything else to do on a Friday night.

Default I really want that Kingston 512MB Flash Drive

Hi! I hope I'm not too late to enter!!!

I just wanted to say that I really want to win that awesome Kingston 512MB Flash Drive, since I was fooled in my last DOK purchase.

What I'm going to tell you is totally true!!!

About a week ago I've purchased a 2GB Sony Vio Flash Drive in a very small store in China for a VERY cheap price of $9.90!!!!!!!!!
I've checked the DOK in the store with my own Laptop and verified that it is working (copied some documents/images and ran them from the DOK).

When I returned home (to Israel, where I live) I found out that none of the files that have been copied to the DOK are working. They are all reported as corrupted/defective.
Of course I guessed that there's something "fishy" with a 2GB Flash Drive that costs less than $10 and that there's no way it is really a SONY VIO flash drive, but a faked one. But, I still believed somehow. And now, I'm really pissed off that I've been fooled.

It's not those 10 bucks but the fact of feeling stupid. I guess the seller really laughed at me after I went.

Anyway, I would be really happy if I could get a new 512MB Flash Drive for free, and from KINGSTON as well!!!

I'm sorry zachig but the deadline was midnight Christmas day, you were roughly 11 hours late

I wouldn't really be bothered to enter you but the others who entered on time might be, and if you won after all that i might get lynched  So I can't really enter you, i'm sorry.

I'll run competitions every now and then though, so stick around for the next one

NAHHHH, that's OK, mate. I just saw now that I was late in 11 hours (hehehe ).

Thanks anyway and GOOD LUCK to all the other participants. I'm really looking forward for some additional giveaways.

    C'ya.

    Default We have a winner!

Yeah exactly. Well, we have a winner!

I used a very intricate algorithm to determine the winner, so much so that some of you may not understand what i'm about to say. I'll try to explain it though.

Hat, put names in hat. First one picked out of hat five times wins

    And the winner is.............(drum role).............

    ::: 'Mike' :::

Congratulations Mike! well done on winning the flash drive. Send me a PM with your details and I'll send it out to you shortly.

I'd just like to thank everyone for participating in this competition, it's been fun! Thanks for registering and posting around the forums, it is much appreciated, and i do hope you'll stay around.

For those of you who didn't win, don't feel too deflated. I'm trying to arrange a new competition with a better (more expensive) prize for the next competition, and this time it will be ran differently. So stick around and wait with baited breath, for the next Pureoverclock competition!

BTW, did any of you notice the new website design go live Xmas day? Like it, hate it?

    Congrats, Mike!!!

WOW, a new competition with even more expensive prize, sounds promising. Thanks!!!

I guess I'll stay. This forum seems like a very nice place and I'm very pround to be a member in forums that deal with hardware and overclocking issues, like "Pure Overclock".

Keep up the good work, guys!!!
