Then you have probably heard the Koolance name before, and if you say “No never heard of them” then you are probably the only one. Luckily, we have the opportunity to test one of their new full cover GPU water blocks on the Radeon 5870 graphics card. Let’s find out how well it performs in keeping the beast cool and quiet.
The Steam version of EA's Battlefield Bad Company 2 is about to get a new patch, and amidst the little tweaks and fixes is some welcome news: the game's SecuROM DRM software will also be uninstalled.

SecuROM has been a pain in the ass of every PC gamer since it first turned up a few years back, so every time it's rolled back should go down as a win for the little guy.
It's the latest in a series of moves by publisher EA, which has scaled back the influence of SecuROM in its PC games in recent months following the disastrous launch of Spore. Dragon Age never had it, Mass Effect's was removed, and now this.

Note, however, this applies only to the Steam version of the game. Guess EA felt Steam's own authentication routines were good enough.

Finally, almost finished with my 1st build. The parts weren't so bad but thought for a while I was in over my head when I saw all the wires in this front panel.

Couple problems I need help with.

First my fan controllers on the front of the case don't seem to work. Here is an image of the connections. Not sure I have them correct. In top of photos is molex plugs from modular PSU. Middle is the fan connectors. Why does it have both a male & female molex plug? Is it to piggy back? I usually see them piggy back right on top the other. I plugged the female end of fan into the PSU male end. The other small connector is what I plugged into the bottom white plugs. They are suppose to go to the fan control knob. I plugged the 2 exhaust fans into one set of the 2 white connectors & the 2 intake fans into another set. Fans run, just don't adjust with the knobs. Is there a setting on the board I have to change to get it to work? ASUS P58xD premium.

Next problem.
I installed 3 hard drives. The first is a SSD & it is recognized & I was able to install Win 7 Pro 64bit on to it. The other 2 drives are a 750 WD black & a 1TB WD black. They show up in the device manager & say they are working properly, but don't show up when I look at "My Computer"

I plan to use the 750 drive to store things I use a lot for my photography(backgrounds templates, photo shop actions).
The 1 TB is for my working drive when I do photo editing. This is the drive I will do most writing to.

How do I get these to be recognized? Do I need to partition them or just leave them as the large size? Again, my OS is on the SSD & that is where I will also put my main programs.

Thanks, Hoping to get this completed & programs installed here soon.

PS One other question, how do I get to the screen that shows the temperature of the CPU?

Okay so i started on this forum with my i7 920 and with all the help from the community i got my i7 920 oc'd to 4.1ghz stable 24/7 use

So my next project was to setup a Raid 0 array "Never done anything like this before" the most i have ever done involving hard drives was split a hard drive into partitions

I kind of rushed into this whole raid 0 idea without researching alot hopefully it dont come back to bite me in the ass so i purchased

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500gb (ST3500418AS) x 2 $58 Each

to run in raid 0

First of are these hard drives good for raid 0 or should i have got something better for the money i spent ?

i want to install my OS and games onto these and using my other 1tb Western digital i will store my music and all that other kind of stuff

So where do i being with this raid 0 how do i set it up what tips or tricks or things do i need to be careful of etc any advice would be greatly appreciated

Also will i be able to use the windows 7 back up utility to clone my c:\ (has os on it currently) and then load it onto the new raid 0 array without any issues ?

These pictures apparently show the guts of a new model of the Xbox 360. The important bits? The fact that for the first time the console combines the CPU and the GPU in a single chip. Oh, and it's small .
The pic above shows the board in question, with the chip part of a rumoured redesign for the Xbox 360 console, testing of which has recently been completed in China. This isn't simply a new board for the existing hardware, either; it's reportedly a total redesign of the console. Think the PS3 Slim, only...for an Xbox 360.
Now, considering the source, there's every reason to be sceptical of the images, and the info. Then again, with Natal due later this year, rebooting the 360 itself to go along with it would make a lot of sense, especially if a reduction in size could come with a reduction in cost .
What do you think? Legitimate Chinese leak, ala the PS3 Slim , or just some punks pulling a stunt?
UPDATE - Removed erroneous information about Intel chipsets.
Asus is still withholding all the key specifications, price and the availability date, but some features, like support for Intel's LGA 1366 CPUs, triple-channel DDR3 support, four PCI-Express x16 slots with Nvidia NF200 bridge chip and the support for SATA 6.0Gbps and USB 3.0 can be seen from the newly released pictures.

The new Rampage III Extreme will be packed with overclocking-friendly features as well as the support for mobile phone tweaking via Bluetooth, something that Asus is quite keen on promoting these days. The rest of the features include Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel audio, eSATA, Firewire, and bunch of USB 2.0 ports.

Sure, Digital Storm's new DaVinci workstation is designed for pros in fields like video editing, it sure looks like a rig a rich nerd would bring to a LAN party.

The DaVinci sports an Intel i7 980X and NVIDIA's Quadro graphics card, both of which are pretty top of the line. And you'll pay for it! The base config of this thing is $2,952.
