I'm really guessing a bit but a single smp would add almost 2k3 ppd and running 2 of them maybe gives a total of around 3k6 ppd.

The trouble with the above comment is that I've not paid much attention to doing this with Ati....only nVidia

    Default folding rig

    2x EVGA 9600GSO
    shaders at 1625Mhz
    running GPU2, of course
running about 12 hours a day
generates about 4000-5000PPD, with a theoretical max of about 8400PPD according to FahMon

for the quad-core owners - what works good to make lots of points is running a virtual linux machine running the SMP core along with your GPU cores. Your quads will have plenty of power to do this and still web-surf. It's not too hard to set up a virtual linux machine, and there are lots of guides online. I used vmware and ubuntu, and had it running in less that 1 hour. The windows SMP client is less efficient(due to the design of windows?)
