I had one like this a few weeks back......Leave it for a couple of days it's probably ok.

Mine sent the result about 28 hours later when the collection server was updated with the work unit that you are trying to send.

If you have no luck in 48hours let me know and I'll see what we can find out about this

Yes, the same messages are still coming through about the untransmitted unit. I haven't noticed this problem before. Looking back at my records (using kakaostats.com, thanks for the link) in the period since the unit was completed - the last two days - I see that my points are 1/2 of what fahmon was showing. There was also a period a few days before that where I didn't get any points. I leave the folding client on 24/7, so I should get what fahmon reads as my ppd or close to it.

It's getting on my nerves, I wanted to hit 100k already.

All you can do is wait. However if you go back through your logfile and give me the work unit and server info I'll pass it on and maybe that will help

I've thrown this one at FaH forum where normally I get a reply within 5 or 6 reads...so far 17 reads no reply. bear with me I'm trying and will post as soon as I hear something.

By the way I've read for hours on posts over there and don't remember seeing this.

as far as points per day and fahmon goes I use the last 3 frames as a guide to all running ok and the log from start to start for time taken to get points shown on right My total ppd in fahmon shows around 8kppd when I actually get about 7k5 and that differential stays the same if the points value of the project changes

Thanks for taking a look for me . I seem to be back on track and am earning points for new units maybe just a little bit slower than before. The untransmitted unit remains however. Eventually it has to expire right? If I wait it out like you were telling xApemanx it will eventually go away, correct? I will just lose this one corrupt unit...

About 24 hours and 1 reply and I'm afraid to say not good news Take a look

I have to agree that it's file related as opposed to internet because of the many attempts.

So you loose one unit but without the attempts to send it maybe you'll gain a little speed.

The next WU transmitted just fine so I just deleted work unit#3 (the one I was having problems with) and everything seems back to normal now just -1 WU.
I did some googleing and another guy had the same problem back in 2002 and everything worked fine for him except for that anomaly. One of the posters said that it could be caused by force closing the program or something like that that would cause a corruption and suggested to Ctrl-C to close every time instead of the x or something.

thanks for the effort grumpydaddy I guess there isnt a way to recover the wu just to fold on
