    Hi, and welcome

Sure is nice to see a new guy here......Feel free to ask about any of this and as for the 12hrs bit ...good for you. Folding 24/7 and with lots of rigs costs too much for most of us anyway

Are you folding 1 single or 2 .....I wonder if smp would work on that processor but most of all I wonder if you would be interested in folding on your gtx260???.....That would probably get 2500-3000points per 12hours

Nice card, If you are happy with your temps and when things settle down some with your use patterns you might try an increase in output by overclocking your shaders.....step them up 54Mhz at a time from stock and then see how you go with your other programs as well as folding.....you should get to around 1512- 1566 maybe even 1620 (that was my best but I don't really game much)

Edit: by the way as soon as my new psu arrives (july) I will be folding again

    Me too,

@12hr ....From a temps point of view the WU's to watch out for are the 511 pointers.....do you temp checks on these. when you find the limit where you get unstable machine drop down 1 or better still 2 steps and you can consider this to be folding stable.

Once you have the shaders set you can maybe try out your gaming and or run some 3DMarks. If you want better framerates on these too then consider overclocking your core too...this will generate more heat so watch it....when you are happy that you have found your ideal overclock for games run FaH again to check everything still works there too.

    Having fun yet???

lost power at the house today ..came home pc was off ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
so my almost no work today

the 511's don't get over 61c ..i keep the fan on 86% ..i know shaders are the key to folding..
so i might try 675 MHz core 1200 MHz mem 1458 MHz shaders for gaming i saw a factory card at those numbers. I checked my volts with evga voltage tuner it was at 1150mv so i should not have to worry about stability..

i like using furmark aka the fur donut i think furmark put the best stress for a vid card ..And 3dmark vantage for my testing numbers for games
what due you think? good number to shoot for?

That's exactly how I set out to begin with on my GX2 ....took it to the same core/shaders of 9800gtx ssc which turned out ok till summer came around ....GX2's run HOT !!

I'm heading for bed now but will dig out my notes on gtx 260's....fairly sure they topped out at 1620 70deg ish @100% fan (I only increase core and mem when benching/3DMark)
