There is a good review on jonnyguru. Anyway, several other PSUs are based on the Leadax platform, such as EVGA's Supernova P2 or Antec's HCP Platinum, so you might have read reviews of those

OK, just read the review at Jonnyguru. It's scores are high and he could only find very minor things wrong with it. He compared it to a SeaSonic Platinum PSU.
So, it looks great, and it's a great performer too.

Not to mention that it is cheaper than the competitors. For me getting this PSU was a no brainer

I don't blame you for that. Getting quality for a good price is the name of the game,.....

I got a new motherboard for one of my i7-2600K CPUs. It's a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3.
I used some GSKill 2133MHz. RAM in it and my 256GB Verbatim SSD.
There are two WD 1TB Blacks in RAID too.
I tried my two Diamond Radeon HD7870s out in it in a crossfire setup and it didn't work.
So those came out, and now there is an ASUS GTX-570 in it. I have another GTX-570 to go in there as well.

I had pulled the old parts out of my Rosewill Blackhawk Ulta case to make room for my new Z87 build.
So when I put this together, I used a Rosewill Blackhawk case that my daughter game to me.
Here's some pics while the Radeon cards were in it. (notice that every fan in the system is replaced with Enermax TB Silence fans)

Nice build Neil. Wonder why the HD7870's didn't work? I have two HD7870's (Tahiti version) and they kick serious butt for the money.
    2nd Rig: AMD FX-8120; Corsair H105 ; Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3; 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 1600MHz; 2 x PowerColor HD 7870 Myst. Ed. (Tahiti LE); Fractal Design Arc XL; SeaSonic X Series 850W
    3rd Rig: AMD A6-3650; Asetek 550LC; Asus F1A75-M Pro; 8GB Kingston HyperX; XFX HD 6670 1GB GDDR5; Antec 300; Thermaltake TR2 650W

I looked everywhere and can not find any info on why the 7870s wont Xfire. I can only guess that one of them is defective. The bridge controller is shot.

Nice looking rig Niel! Glad to see you building bro.

They didn't work in crossfire connected to two AMD motherboards and two clean installs of Win-7 either.
Then I put them into the third system (i7-2600K) in crossfire, and they didn't work there.

Both work perfectly when alone in any system I try them in, but crossfire is a bust.

Nice looking rig Niel! Glad to see you building bro.
I used four bridges on them. Both cards work great singly, and they benchmark with the same scores. I used three PSUs too.
When I have them installed together, the second card is always disabled.
If I move the monitor's cable to the other card, it enables and the other card is suddenly disabled.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. It defies logic and they ~should~ be working, but they don't.

I've decided to use them apart. They have decent performance on their own.

Next, I'm gonna try SLI 570's in the i7-2600K system. If it doesn't work it's suicide time.

Yes, I tried to but it was unavailable because one card was disabled in the system.
Tried to find a way to enable it, but couldn't.

Tried the cards in three motherboards. ASRock 990FX Extreme4, MSI 970A-G46, and a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3. Exactly the same results in all of them.
