Good to know... I decided to never buy another Corsair keyboard after my experience. Even talked a guy out of it while he was about to buy one at the store.
The other reason for ditching it and going with the Razer Chroma was how loud those keys are on the K70, If I use the computer in another room, the key taps kept my wife from sleeping because they are so loud. The Razer has really recessed keys and they are quiet, but still mechanical. I find it to be pretty accurate, but sometimes it does a double letter on a single tap.

The pricing on these things gets crazier and crazier. I find myself buying 64GB Class 10 95MB/s uSD and SD cards every time I see one on sale...they seem so ridiculously cheap, I can't pass them up. USB 3 Thumb drives especially of this capacity are even harder to pass up. Good find!

Well my cordless laser comfort desktop from logitech finally died.
The Official I just "Got" Thread-sktd09c.velika.jpg
first was the mouse (about 1 yr ago), and was replaced with Logitech Laser Performance Mouse MX (I love it):
The Official I just "Got" Thread-prfmx.png
and few days ago the keyboard died too. I had this combo since 2009 serving me well, and I sadly had to say goodbye to it.
After one day of looking and investigating of what will be the best keyboard for me, I finally decide and go for Corsair Strafe RGB MX Silent Mechanical Keyboard:

and after two days of trying and testing it, I must say that I'm in with this one.

After building a PC last year with the K70, I'm seriously considering a Corsair to replace my Ducky. Not that there is anything wrong with the Ducky, but those Corsairs, just look damned cool. Nice upgrade Smiki!

Nice one Bill! I was drooling over a Samsung 950 in Microcenter the other day. Perhaps it's fortunate the Microcenter guys didn't have one of these laying out where I could see it...

    Very NICE!

Born from years of feedback from our customers, we are proud to bring you the new LF Reaction series of reservoirs, our highest quality and most customizable reservoir to date.
The reservoir features the same style and shape as before, but brings back the aluminum caps as a standard option. These aluminum caps will be available in black anodized and brushed at first, but more colors will be released soon.
The reservoir features 2 bottom facing ports and 1 top facing port. An optional side port cap will be available separately, having 2 bottom facing ports and 2 side ports extending beyond the base of the bottom aluminum ring.
We've brought back the double thick walled aluminum rings.
No issues lining up the aluminum rings anymore. They slide right on the acetyl cap from the ends, seat into place on the groove, and can be secured with a set screw. Some people may find the set screw unnecessary as the caps stay on without them, but it's included for added security.
Stemming from a big overhaul of our equipment, the tubes are machined on the ends to a polished finish, and given much stronger threads than we had in the past. Gone is the compression design that left some people unsure about the seals and safety of our products.
One last change; the helix now locks in place with a small groove on the inside of the cap. The helix can no longer rotate and block the surface ports.

Each reservoir requires a cathode inverter to power the reservoir cathode.
    Dimensions: 6.3"x2.375"x2.375" (160mmx60.3mmx60.3mm)
Includes: Reservoir, Aluminum Rings, Mounting Hardware, 1 Fill Plug, Cathode, sleeved

    Neil,
Wait till I get mine these new ones seem to be made a lot better, but they don't have a review as of yet, so wait
till mine comes in. I need to fiscally see how well they are made, and also how well they hold up
after install, I had heard the older models were horribly made and leaked. I purchased the 160mm

I won't be pulling the trigger on one anytime soon.
I just bought a second GTX-980 Windforce for one PC, and a second GTX-980Ti for another.
I still need a second Sapphire R9-390X Toxic for the third system and a CPU for my planned X99 box.

I too look forward to your thoughts on the new res. Kinda on the fence myself. I need something larger than I currently have.

Thanks Scott, I really like this keyboard, as I am not 100% gamer I feel no need for macro buttons (as the other keyboards have it). RGB lights are terrific, I have divided the keyboard to various sectors (num keys, F keys, letter keys ...), and each sector have assigned a specific color. Considering it is a mechanical keyboard is really quiet for such (no noisy click sound). Corsair has done really good job with MX Cherry Silent technology. It cost me a bit expensive here in Peru (US $ 175), but it was worth.

    Always look beyond the limits...
