I love how you laid it out looks great and the white custom shroud is killer did you design it yourself?
Really nice job over all my friend.

Thanks Vinnie. Yes, the shroud is all me, just buyed the 5mm White acrilyc in local store, draw the design and took it to another store for the laser cut.

I was going to be building my new i9-7900X system this weekend, but the USPS sent my shipment (MSI Mainboard, CPU, and 64GB of RAM) to Santa Barbra, California by mistake.
    I'm in Virginia.

I'm not too happy about it. It should have been here Thursday.

Now it's looking like a tomorrow delivery.
    We'll see,............

I already have 64GB of RAM here, and a Pair of 1080FE GPUs for it.
I have a 280mm AIO to cool the CPU, or I could use a 360mm professional loop that I have from AlphaCool.
I haven't been this excited for a build in a long time.

    It's been a while.
Since my last post, I've built the i9-7900X box with the MSI X299 Gaming M7 ACK mainboard and 64-GB of DDR4-3000MHz RAM. There are two GTX-1080FE GPUs in it, running SLI.
I re-used the Coolermaster Master Air Maker-8 Air cooler on the i9 chip because the TDP of the 7900X was the same as my old i7-6850K. (140W output)
I kept it in there for a good two-week run, but it just wasn't enough to cool the i9 properly. It worked, but three cores were getting up to the 99C temp and throttling.

So I pulled a new Corsair 280mm AIO off of my parts shelf and installed it.
I had a clearance issue with my push/pull fan configuration and got into a rush. (trying to install it anyway)

That proved to be a mistake.

I pierced the radiator with a screw and it leaked. I noticed it as soon as I powered it up and shut it down.
It was avoidable and I'm at fault for screwing (pun intended) it up.
All I could find at the time was an NZXT X41 140mm AIO, so I installed it. (taking my time)

I have to say that I'm impressed with the X41's performance with the 10 core CPU. Temps are in the mid-60c range during benchmarks and folding at home tasks.
So I called it good and moved on to the next build.

This one is a 7700K in an ASRockZ270 Killer SLI/ac board with 64GB of DDR4-3200MHz. RAM inside. I put the pair of Gigabyte GTX-1070 GPUs into this one. (SLI again)
This sucker is fast. It games faster than the ten-core does, but I figured that it would. Benches still go to the 7900X box though. I won some blue fans in a contest and had a few on the shelf, so this is where they all got to. It looks pretty good. Picture below.
The Thermaltake Water 3.0 AIO keeps this one in cool temps.
