let check if you have a perfect imprinting or not before contacting DD, if you have perfect contacting at CPU and RAM then this block is might be a flaw or not really compatible with Diamond card.

Sometime card maker decide to change their PCB or component of the card a little bit then this kind of issue happen.

all the pads stuck to the block with the exception of the one thats not touching I can add another 4 layers of the pad to make contact on the one VRM or whatever it is lol.

    EDIT

The one that is not making contact is because the block has been made that way give me a sec for a pic.

I bought a EK GPU block and did not have the proper mil thermaltape. I added another layer and all worked fine. If you need 3 or 4, just go ahead. I do not know if that will make the VRM temps slightly higher due to the additional tape but I would not think it would not make a difference.

WOW... 2 GPU's. Did you get that from Stan? 5970 x 2? I see 2 spots of thermapaste on the block........ Nice you lapper!

I would think more pads would work better. All your doing is achieving the same thickness through layers and they are very sticky. I would email Dan at Danger Den to let him know for future customers. He will address the problem. Dan is a good guy.

    SPONGEBOB!
    You are such a NOOB

you don't really need padding for the chokes, the VRMs are the 7 small pcs right to those square black chokes.

Damn, you are good to go!

I know what intructions say but it's not neccessary for those but if you want to be safe then you can build layer of the pads.

The only problem left now is the compression fittings I bought for it are to big to fit on the back side of the card with the stock back plate, so I guess I'm using barbs on one side.

other solutions are don't use backplate or you have to order this to bring your fat ass 3/4"OD compression up above the backplate.

With backplate use the max size for compression is 3/8"ID&1/2"OD

That would delay the build LOL, I plan on getting compression fittings for the entire thing eventually there just so expensive. Maybe I should trade my ASUS board , chip and ram I have for some waco gear....Hmmmmmm.

too late ....that's all I got left for Sandy and I didn't have enough to the same so I have to mix match the barbs.

Compressions are pretty and good but they are double the price to the barb. You have to do the collection thru the years.
