I tried to buy two, but they only had the one I got brand new in the box and a floor model. I asked for a discount on the floor model and they said 5% off. I didn't feel like that was a good enough price cut for a monitor that has been pawed by every snot nosed kid this side of the Mississippi.

Besides, if I came home with two I think my wife would have had a breakdown or maybe assaulted me. She was glad I got this one though. Once I hooked it up, she was like, "Wow, what a difference!"

The local Frys was having a huge sale on all Asus and LG monitors with no interest financing too. By the time I got there pickings were slim. The place was a complete mad house.

Mine just loves to lay on them, it's my Lab that destroys everything, and shes 120lbs and going on 11 yrs old, my Pits 90Lbs and will be 7 next month

It was also my Pit that let me know that my mom had passed away yesterday morning, he walked over to her bed, sat down and started howling, which is something he's never done before. The Nurses from Hospice were amazed, he knew she had passed before they did and they had been there for 20mins

Pits are (Very) Misunderstood dogs.
Mixed breed Pits do have issues though as I researched thru the years.

Owned and trained them for over 20 years and lost alot of them due to age.
Never had an incident, But quite a few (Warnings) when thought family members were threatened.
Not a Purty site
Need a loyal buddy, Get a Pit but raise them Right.

Totally agree. Pits are great. No less or more dangerous than any other dog with similar characteristics. It's all on how they are raised, trained and treated.

WOW sorry to hear that about you're mom Stan. I love dusty that is my son's dog. she just eats everything. MY i7 chip. my leather couch last month. plasterboard, trim. toilet paper. his wallet. his shoe's.

The inevitability of loosing your folks is of no consequence nor does it diminish our feeling of loss. My sincere condolences Stan.

I am another who agrees that the breed is not the issue rather the way they are raised. I have had Dobies, Rotts and a couple of pit breeds who were all super family dogs but fiercely protective of their family too (in the case of the last Rott that included the cat)
