I need ram and a CPU. Got everything else to build an HTPC, but even then, it'd end up in the bedroom.

So... I'm playing around with the concept of the Lian Li PC-TU200.

Questions plaguing my mind are: Where could I stash radiators in this thing, and what size?

Would be the perfect LAN box.

So your looking at a closed loop for this thing I don't see a regular loop fitting inside it.

    Closed? Why?

Space is limited, but there is potential.

A 240 would fit in the floor, but:
    - You'd need a block on your GPU to reduce its slot size
    - The rad could only be a 'stealth' model, like a BI GTS
    - You could only use ~15mm fans on it, so, Slip Streams
    - A 280 (140.2) won't fit because of the front I/O panel

A 240 would fit in the roof, but:
    - You'd have to be mindful of retaining cross sections for the handle to remain functional
    - You couldn't have it laser-cut because the panel is part of the entire exterior case wall, so you'd have to use a Dremel to do the cutting
    - You'd lose the optical drive, but could install an Aquaero in its place easily, then locate a slim optical drive elsewhere, if desired
    - No fan limitations

A 140 would fit in the front, but:
    - You lose your HDD bays, however they are unnecessary anyway

Best bet is obviously the roof, with a typical undersized rectangle cutout, exclusionary six-pack cross section, and an overlapping rad grill, while retaining the handle. If a reservoir were desired the HDD bays would have to go, but they aren't needed anyway. And if those are going bye-bye, might as well add a 140 rad for extra cooling. Pull from the front, push in the roof. Could work.

With or without a res, it'll end up in the bottom of the HDD bay. Probably a DDC. D5s with tops get kinda large. DDCs can act as res bases too.

Say, windowed side panel, DDC underneath an Aquatube pointed left. Of course you could also harpoon the same res with a D5... You know, take it from behind like a dirty little bitch. Could work.

I dunno I think it will be to tight to be honest. The top has zero cooling so if you mod it the handle is gone no way around that, the only cooling listed is the front fan. So if you try to put a rad in the bottom the HDD cage is gone if you try to fit more than a fan up front the cage is gone. You could get away with a 140 up front as long as your not going to use a platter drive and mod the 5.25 drive bay. Just looks to small for anything of significance IMO.

That is what I meant by a "six pack" cutout. Then you take a stainless steel rad grill (blue outline) that is larger than your cutout. The rad grill attaches to the radiator, through the excess edge of the top panel. The handle attaches through the rad grill, to its original mount in the top panel. There is no significant loss of strength when using a stainless grill, which is also attached to the case, and finally the rad.

I need images detailing the side panel latch mechanisms. I don't have any idea of their dimensions.

I was watching a documentary on Olmec architecture, and their heavy use of mica-embedded stone, which is not at all native to the region (closest mica-enriched area being 2000 miles south). Someone mentioned the Tayos caves and the Metal Library, so I set about researching that. In one of those discussions someone mentioned the Oak Island Money Pit.

That's where the Templar come into it.

It has also been asserted that the pit may have been dug by exiled Knights Templar and that it is the last resting place of the Holy Grail or even the holy Ark of the Covenant.[27]

    You canucks should go digging.

Decided: I'll buy the Lian Li TU200. I don't need it (got too many damn cases laying around already), but it offers a good challenge for WaCo. I'll get it just for something to play with.

Going to say this in the simplest terms I can.

Where did all the advanced civilizations of the past disappear to? The Atlantians, the Lemurians, the Osirians, the Mayans and others? There was no catastrophic global event. The problem is time.

We're stuck in a time loop. On December 21, 2012, a couple of idiot college kids are going to start up a time machine they've built, with the goal of finding out. The trouble is, there won't be a tunnel that surrounds the machine. It's going to regress everything local to our reality to a point thousands of years ago. We, this current generation, will not exist for thousands of years. Everything we've learned and discovered will be lost. Some other version of ourselves will eventually exist, and they'll look back and wonder, "What happened to all those advanced civilizations?", again.

Those lost civilizations are all us. The choices we make keep changing, resulting in ruin after ruin of indeterminate origin. And each cycle, we reset. It won't always be "December 21, 2012", because that is a random choice we made. Reference to calendar measurement will be different. The cycle will repeat over the same period, however.

I assume each of these civilizations has "disappeared" from existence at the point they discovered this. They jumped forward in time, where they escaped the loop. We are the current incarnation caught in the loop, but I have a feeling we're too late to both realize, and correct it.

So on December 22, 2012, it probably won't matter anymore. We won't exist anymore.
