Loved the extra PICs. Was disappointed to see the 240GB Corsair SSD and the WD Red in there. Don't get me wrong, the Red is a great drive, but a pair of Samsung, Intel or Crucial SSD's would have been a lot sweeter. <grin>.

My wife and I just got back from West Virginia last night. We had gone down to Iaeger, WV to pass out food and clothing to families in need.
Iaeger is a coal mining town whose residents took a huge financial hit when our current administration decided to scale back coal production in the US.
Darlene and I drove both of our vehicles down to Iaeger filled with donated Peanut Butter, Bread, and Jelly. We had a lot of clothes for kids, and plenty of children's toys too.
We were well received because we coordinated with a local outreach, and they guided us to where our donations made the most difference.

It was a fast trip with a five-hour drive to get there, and an evening spent giving. The next day we passed out all of the rest of our goods and drove back.

A whirlwind tour to say the least.

On the way back, we drove through the recent West Virginia flood disaster area at White Sulfur Springs. It was incredible to see the damage that mother nature meted out to them.
Whole houses were washed away. Houses floated into bridges, knocking them out. Trees smashed into everything in their path.
We were both heartened by the emergency response teams that had responded to the area.

It's been quite a week for an old fart. I'm humbled.

That county has 150 hollers and some of the houses are barely standing.
There are a lot of single wides standing on bricks.

    Many have tarps for roofs.

    Fact of the day!:
Humans use more energy to cook their food then to harvest their food. So If you were to work In your garden and then cook the food you harvested, you would spend much more energy cooking it then you did out at the garden.
If you hear one fact in your entire life this should be the one to know!
