    Um half the cores are missing at 7GHz

    Even if you could do 7GHz 24/7 would it even be worth it? I'd take double the cores over 2GHz any day.

    No, I can wait,....what I like is the possibility of a better performing APU system. (and the associated lower costs to build them)
    APUs are not bad for the money. (at least so far,....)
    The A8-3870K performed about 90% as good as the retired Phenom II's at 3.9Ghz in processing power. They were not bad at all for $140.
