Same here. Just finished Season 2 in like 3 or 4 nights. I love this show. I'm gonna try to find Season 3 on utorrent.

I saw they had the marathon, I didn't want to bother with commercials. I'm ok with being a season behind: netflix no commercials on demand. I've got Game of Thrones to keep me busy. A season behind there also, but finished with the books.
I love a good zombie story. Grew up on Night/Dawn/Day of the Living Dead. Walking Dead is a reprieve from a long string of crappy/bad/cheesy/dumb zombie movies since then (including remakes). IMHO.

I bought the DVD set. It's not on netflix. Dvd sets will be a season behind the current season (at least the first one was). Great HBO production. Excellent book series.
