well so far 8 states on the east coast declared state of emergency already. Monday night suppose to get 75mph winds and where i work it floods very easy. a river runs along the road near my job and will most likely flood the whole road like irene did. they saying expect blackouts. when Irene hit Long Island was out of power for 3 weeks. NJ was so flooded it was crazy! water running over the little bridge. towns under water.

Its supposed to hit Mass really hard too. Irene was horrible last year, out of power for very long periods of time, no work was being done on the lines either. If they do it again the state is fining National Grid and the other power companies for not acting as they should to an emergency.

They're saying it should be worse... It figures right as we're were about to get one of those natural gas generators a hurricane comes....

Mass just declared a state of emergency. they had people from other states trying to fix power but they wasnt getting paid like they were suppose to so some of them stopped working.
