    was wondering what processor to get, the core 2 extreme qx9650 ,or the i7 975 extreme 1366, i can get the gigabyte x58-extreme for $60.00! and wich one out of both of them is the best for overclocking, and the fastes thanks.i got p35-dq6 motherboard right now also i can upgrade to the 2011 motheboard but dont want to right now wait to see what this year as to offer just into building this computer i got now

    Why not look into getting the i5-3570K? How come you want old hardware?

    Then in that case there is no contest, the 975 is still a beast of a CPU! Stick with the 975!

    dont know yet might keep it until the fall just need it for now and want to overclock it also alot of people i know dont know to much about computers got 4gb of ocz 8500 reaper 1066mhz ddr2 to put in it
