    Default A level choices

I've just got back from visiting the college i want to go to, and its comfirmed my options. Im taking pysics, maths/furthermaths, computing, electronics.

realy excited about the electronics, its actually building mini computers and counting machines, audio samplers etc. from scratch (both with and without processers were apllicable). Also, ill be learning machine code as you have to program the chips.

computing is just the normal, programming and building.

pysics should be fun (i want to do it at university and as a job).

Im not sure if i should do maths or further maths.further maths is basically like a double a-level, and it would meen me basically taking 5. Its not actually 2 a-levels but the same amount of work. You do the a-level all crammed into one year and then go on to do university level maths for a year.

now, to do well on next weeks mocks so i actually get accepted :P

you gotta take that math if you're atleast thinking of programming games or any 3d graphics apps.

lol luckily im good at maths :P
yer im trying to memorise the equations of motion at the moment. im not a fan of trig but i can do it for calculating tragetories (sp) and vectors etc.

fuflo im thinking of going into pysics programming for games. So do you think further maths could be a must?

dunno actually. you will need to learn it at some point. if you don't want it now, you can study that later on your own.. but i'd take it now.
