    Default Counterfeit Coolant Warning!

We have had been contact by a few customers asking if we have a new coolant called EC7. After looking into it we have discovered a Chinese company has been producing a fake coolant called EC7 and selling it with the XSPC logo.

This coolant is likely to be either water and dye, or a low quality, toxic antifreeze. We would like to warn our customers not to use this product as it will offer little or no protection for your system.

The original XSPC coolant is called EC6 and we have no plans for a product called EC7. Always make sure you buy products from an official XSPC reseller as counterfeit products are becoming a bigger issue for us.

Below is a photo of the fake coolant.

Yea, its a shame that it has come to counterfeiting cooling liquid.. I mean come on! its probably just distilled water with a couple of drops of PT Nuke which you can do yourself at home for under $2.00 for over 1 gal of it. They are probably selling it for like $8 to $10 at local stores.

I saw these at Micro Center over the weekend. I didn't know they were fake until I read the article last night.
Vinny, you should stop by MC since your nearby and let them know.. lolz.. I am thinking that the guys over at MC doesn't know either.

Good idea to buy from a certified vendor. May cost more, but you'll get what you pay for.

EDIT: The costs for this product is not bad at all when purchased from the proper channels. Why not pay the real price for the real deal? This counterfiting makes no sense to me.
