Default What is it with people on ebay?

Either im unlucky, or everyone on ebay is a scammer, iv built a couple PC's, and always tried to save a little money here and there, This is probably my fault. But just hear me out

out of all the PC parts i have ever bought used on ebay, Which was mostly just GPU's i think i have gotten ONE that actually worked.

this is now the 4th time out of maybe 5 or 6 times that i have bought something used and it dosent work! shame on me for not learning the first or second time, But come one now, why does everyone on ebay need to sell broken parts? come on now

That's odd. You must just be on a binge of bad luck. I've bought countless hardware off eBay, a couple GPUs, and every single one has been functional.

Either you have the worse luck or you are missing signs that it could be BS. Like price too good to be true. Mixed ratings. The description sounds more like a sales pitch stating how perfect the item is and how it can save the world by itself. Read feedback before making any major purchase. Make sure you set it to display the last year of ALL feedback not just the happy horse****. Make sure you pay for it with Paypal to have a safety net in case you have a dispute. Report issues as soon as you get the product. So screwing around. Other than that I would just not buy that type of stuff if you historically have terrible luck. Hope you get this one resolved.

I have sold a ton of stuff on eBay, and I can tell you that I test each and every piece prior to listing it. I won't even sell anything questionable since it isn't worth the headache. Sorry if you are running into other sellers who aren't being as forthright.

Definitely always use PayPal and put in a claim immediately after contacting the seller when there is a problem. It immediately puts the payment in limbo while the case is investigated.

I alwayys use PayPal, so at least I get my money back, it's just annoying having to deal with it, the most recent cards I got were two XFX 7970's for $240 for the pair... 1 had a broken fan and worked.... The other one, after updating drivers just black screens and I have no idea why, trying to troy me shoot the problem , I just want my damn pc back

I have literally spent thousands on Ebay from good seller, you have to look at their feedback. I just bought a Samsung 1TB 850 Pro and It came brand new , works great with 10 year warrantee.
