    Default Heard of TastyPC?

No plug, just a Youtube channel I recently came across that I wanted to share. Anyone else watch TastyPC on Youtube?

Have to say I love her videos. She knows her stuff and is a really comfortable on-screen presence despite being a DIY at home Youtuber. She also does charitable work through her channel, donating her builds to causes that could use them (mostly for children, I think).

Anyhoo, here's a lovely example to give you a taster. Looking forward to the thoughts and reactions of more experienced heads - and if you have any Youtube channel recommendations that are good for beginners, shout !

    Cheers,
    Fred

EDIT: copied the wrong tab in my browser. link should lead to Youtube now.

Did you know that nine out of ten gamer guys surveyed couldn't tell you what product was in the video they just watched on this channel?

I have no problem with Lauren/TastyPC. She has a good working knowledge of the parts she reviews. But.....just being honest, were it an average male in a Nintendo t-shirt making the same videos it would not be getting much attention.

No argument. You're exactly right, and I'd say it's a sad thing for our Hobby/Community, but I'll be honest too. Would I rather watch Lauren build a PC, or that guy on the ROG channel that Fred linked??? Lauren any day.

Funny that. Lovely as she is, the one thing that kills me is her accent. My Ex has a British Accent...for some reason I don't find it charming any more...<grin>.

Been watching TastyPC since the beginning. I remember when Linus from LinusTechTips/NCIX was taking shots at her. He sounded like a true hater.
