    Default linux bsd spyware

so i am now playing with pfsence firewall

i want to know how to find, eliminate, and refuse "BSDstats" to ever be on my machine again

in short i hate spyware to the extreme that i value my privacy more than i value my own life,
but sadly this program is the best firewall on the planet at the moment
    not to mention it's free

I'm not sure I'd define bsdstats as spyware, but I get your point for sure.

I think the command "pkg delete bsdstats" should remove it, as PFSense is based on FreeBSD, and I gather from this page that this is how you remove packages.

If that doesn't work, we'll have to dig around some more.
