Question suggest some antivirus to block spyware.

    Hi there,

Iím here to get help from PC experts. I got a personal mail that I won some free gift points.I felt happy that I can buy gadgets for a cheap rate on the black Friday. I clicked on the link provided in the mail and a new window opened on the browser. I started putting my user id and password of my bank account. At that time few pop-up like ads came on the screen and when I checked the address bar it was not secured (https is not there). I immediately closed the browser and transferred all the personal details from the PC to my external hard disk and deleted browser history & cookies.

I searched online for secure my PC from those types of attack and found a blog (http://nci.ca/what-can-you-do-to-pro...nd-ransomware/) To protect from spyware, malware, and ransomware. Iím using a pro antivirus to protect my PC and this sh**t happened. Does the antivirus has the ability to filter or block spyware that may hack my credit card and other personal information from my computer? Then why it doesnít work. I donít trust any of this sh**ty antivirus any more. Please, help. what should I do?.

    Thanks.

I'm using Bitdefender Total Security together with Malwarebytes Anti Malware, and have no problem at all.

I have used BitDefender T.S. and Malware Bytes now for some time and they work beautifully together. Also get Malware Bytes Anti Exploit program.
My BitDefender expired, so i thought I'd try Kaspersky, but I'll likely go back to BD.
    Russian brands make me nervous.

I don't like KS, before BD I was using AVG IS for more than 10 years, but as the latest version of AVG were more and more resources hungry I've decided to go with BD TS, and after almost a year of using it I can tell the BD is the number 1 now.

I agree, it's easy, uses low resources and will not screw anything up.

I'm using Avira right now on my gaming box, and the rest of the Windows PC's run Avast!

I use Linux for anything important though....

I have been using SpyHunter for 2 years and I have never had any of my computers infected with a virus! I tried Avira before but it took a long time to install and then the computer ran like hell so I gave up. Although the post on pcmag listed many popular antivirus programs of this year but I would insist my choice.
