    Default Internet Censorship

Hey this is the only place where I can find out if this is true or not considering this is my only contact to folks in Britain

I heard that in the UK you cant visit www.google.com you have to use the www.google.co.uk alternative instead, also heard that http://www.infowars.com/ and http://www.prisonplanet.com/ are blocked completely.

can this be confirmed for me? I wanna know if I have my information right

I can confirm that this is all b/s I can access both sites fine. Only China censers the net. And you are ALWAYS directed to your own countries site for things like Google. When I was in Turkey I had to use the Turkish version.

who isn't being monitored that's the question :P
our rights are being eroded a little bit at a time by 2020 I bet we'll have nothing if we let it continune
    Throttling http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs#Argentina
here's a good tube on Sympatico throttling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlMbxosLtaY
    and an article http://www.cbc.ca/mobile/story/natio...cMenu=business

throttling is a type of censorship that goes unnoticed by the average consumer
monitoring goes unnoticed as well. site blocking will be the pinacle

    Alex Jones...

I remember some video where he got Noam Chomsky on his show last minute (on phone), was very nice to him for 10 minutes, discussed his books, his views and agreed with him on everything (licking his arse in otherwords), then suddenly out of nowhere started throwing insults, didn't give Noam a chance to respond to his trash talk, cut the line and then said "there you have it folks, evidence that Noam Chomsky is in the hands of the CIA"...

I'm all for a free media, all for exposing major social lies, corruption, and media and political propaganda, but Id avoid Alex Jones unless you are already grounded in politics and know what not to believe from his lying mouth, he uses a lot of truths to preach lies, if you get me.

yea I understand exactly what you mean Jameson.
I think the first time I listened to his radio show he ended up barraging this guy into submission.
But what I like about him is his general message to not put up with bs and to stand up for the good things. but either than that I gotta double check on the reports that have no facts in them.
