Well, my name is Jeremy, I'm 27, and I live in North Carolina in the US. I am currently a hardware reviewer for the site, one of the Core Members, and have hopes of increasing my role within the site in the near future. I have messed around with computers for most of my life (well, since my teenage years at least). I didn't even own my own computer until I was 22. Ever since then I have been increasing interested in personal PC security (i.e. manual virus & spyware removal, "white hat" hacking, etc.), building PC's for others, and getting the absolute most out of any PC I come across. I am gamer in my free time, and do graphics, flash, and web design as I can find work.

If you have AMD system, feel more than free to ask me any questions (in another thread) and I am always more than willing to help out.

    See you in the forums!

    I'm Mike

Just to prove us "oldies" aren't necessarily past it with computers I'll tell you I'm 52 and had never overclocked before coming here at the beginning of '08.

I'm still learning the finer points of core 2 and have not made the move to i7, in fact I expect that my next big build will be i9. I try to pass on my experiences and knowledge gained here but you will see nothing from me about i7....now you know why

You may also note that I fold for the Pure team cos I think that if a few more people would dedicate their spare cycles to science then we just might get to finding the cure for some really nasty diseases a bit sooner.

I am Benjamin, and im one of those young guys who spent/wasted thier childhood playing with computers. I have studied electrical engineering to a reasonably high degree, so if you any questions about how things work on the level of switches and resistors (etc) i'd be happy to help

As with many here i have also built my own rig, so i can also help there, and im good with general diagnostics when things go wrong!

hey, im logan. im almost 20 and i am attending csu fresno. ive been overclocking since my first computer on socket 939, and i was absolutely awful at it until i got my core2duo.

because my first build was on 939, i have a strange desire to build a new 939 computer so that i can reminisce about the good old days, and it is because my 939 system that i cant help but want to build with AMD, a company that has been my friend since i used my grandma's Athlon XP 1500+ when my Pentium II 233 couldn't handle Warcraft 3.

anyone have a DFI NF4 board to sell? or maybe an Opteron 165? ive got an A64 3500+ and A8N32 SLI-Deluxe, a board that I think I have fried. Oh, and I sold my RAM. Anyone have any for sale?

    my CPU chronology:
    Pentium II 233, Athlon XP 2800+, Athlon 64 3500+, Pentium D 805, Phenom 9950, Xeon E3110, QX6850, Athlon X2 4400+ (after mainboard died), Phenom II 940, Core i7 920

Hey guys, I'm far from a regular here but i do come here at least once a week to check things out and see whats new in the computer industry.

I'm Ryan, from a small town in NW Indiana between South Bend, IN and Chicago, IL. I'm 25(as of this post, 26 tomorrow on the 27th), I am currently in school for Computer Network Systems and have been messing around with computers for a couple years and never OC'd anything til I came to this site and got the help I needed to have a stable OC. My first custom built rig is the one that's in my specs now. Before that I would just put new RAM or a new Power Supply in an old Dell I use to have and from there I decided that maybe I should try to build my own now that I have an understanding of how things work and go together. So now here I am.

Hi, I'm Jake and I'm a recovering computer geek. I'm on the 5 stage of my 8 stage recovery period.

I'm a Canuck and yes I have polar bears and penguins in my back yard and live in an igloo. It helps me get better overclocks I do watch and play hockey 24/7 and say "Eh" after every single sentence that I talk ABOOT. And I wear a Mountie uniform out in public as my normal attire. And I keep a beaver as a pet. And we work on the 25 hour clock and we've never seen American TV way up here and don't even know what cars are.

I did own a Commodore 64 and it needed 20 minutes on a cassette tape to load Space Invaders. And I was cool because I had one. That hotrod rig was leet even before I knew what leet was, even before the word was invented.

I enjoy short walks and long dinners at sunset. I'm a meatitarean and love the feel of soft leather against my hands in the winter. I ice fish in the nude for fun and am president of the local chapter for nipple-piercing addicts recovery group. I like drinks with umbrellas and think tequila is for chumps. I'm looking for a soulmate and if you think you're it then you need your head examined.
