    Question How Canadians drink milk...

    Check out the video here:

    http://www.noob.us/miscellaneous/how...ns-drink-milk/

    So, my question is:

Is this just a joke, or do you Canadians actually drink your milk out of bags? Jake?

Yes our milk come in bags like you see in the video. It's enviroment friendly purpose, we don't have plastic jug you do, the next small amount of milk is come in 1L carton. Also 3 individual seal bags are last longer, because you only open one bag at a time not the whole jug.

Now you know the reason why...that girl need a boyfriend. Lol..she got nothing else to do beside making that video?

I'd like that in the states. Buying 1/2 gallon containers costs too much, 2x1/2 gal = 1.5 times as much as just buying a full gallon. Then your milk doesn 't last very long. Wonder what it would take for that to take off in the U.S.?

Well i live in western Canada and i haven't seen milk bags since the 70's, But it looks like they still use em out east. Plastic jugs or paper is how they distribute milk in our area, all recycleable materials.

First time I heard about milk bags was about 4 years ago from a wrestler I used to know.

I think we all most likely got our first drink of milk from a bag. LOL

And we still keep going back to the bag for more, my old lady just slapped the back of my head for saying this.

Got Milk? Uh.. well got jugs does that qualify? hahahaha.... ok ok.. so i am in a funny mood tonight. Wow, i had no idea milk came in bags like that (Ok i'm American..so sue me!). I sort of figured all milk containers were recyclable though. It would seem to me that milk in a bag might stand more of a chance of spoilage since it can't be resealed tightly. a clothes pin? honestly!

IL or 2L cartons, or 4L in bags. You can get milk in 4L plastic jugs at a few places like Wal-Mart though. I can remember buying milk in 1 QT glass bottles before they began selling it in bags.

4Hams..Well I look forward to the Bar-BQ at some point and i hope i am here when you guys decide to have it because i will be there!!! I am actually still here in town! I wish things would calm down.. but alas new things each day keep cropping up both here and back home... sigh. Hmmm... i would be interested in seeing the milk like that at the party! Is it refrigerated or shelf stable when you buy it? Just curious. I will be back in town in late May or June then again in August, then October and so on for couple weeks at a time. Gonna try to get up this way about every 8 weeks or so to help out with my mom..or at least to give my dad some relief. She's had numerous scans this past week already. Mystery "spots" on bones of her spine... yikes. Thanks for asking.. it's very kind of you. I am quite worried about her.

huh...drive over just for a milk run? Naw.. would want to see some friends for coffee too!

    Titanium Lotus... awwww shucks! :$

My Dad gets his milk and eggs delivered to his house currently from a local dairy with the milk in glass bottles here in Niagara county! I graduated highschool with the farmer's son who owns the dairy.. i laugh every time i have seen the truck pull up.. still driving a couple old fashioned trucks from i believe the 1950's or 1960's that they have maintained! In the South you can get milk in glass bottles also, but it's more of a novelty in the high end grocery stores there.
