Half-life 3 is open world, launching after 2013

Half-Life 3 is an open world shooter that will launch after 2013, a source close to Valve has allegedly revealed.

Speaking with Journaldugamer – by way of OXM – the source said that Half-Life 3 features saw a “total revision” following a “very chaotic” development schedule.

It was said to have been developed as a straight-up shooter but the source suggested that it ‘failed’ in that format, before being reigned back towards puzzles and exploration. The source also stated that Half-Life 3 will have a “open-world, quests and NPCs”

The source stated that development is well under way, and that the game will work several RPG elements into the mix. It was also suggested that the game will be a full Half-Life 3, not Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

entropia is my current #1, my 2nd is combat arms

this is a copy/paste from a while back on a different fourm
we have fallout 3
fallen earth
face of mankind
and entropia
we can hunt people critters, build dune buggies, rifles, bird houses and mine for raw elements
but i am looking for a game, mmo (multi member online ) where i dont have to pay out of the nose
i can handle a box fee
but a box fee + 14 bucks a month?!?!?! no way
anyone have any sugestions?
oh, and i like games where i can make stuf, not just run around and grind ( kill endlessly)
and i never use consols
i am a PC only person
lunix or windows

Yes. They make this stuff up to drive hits to their sites from people like me who have been waiting to play it for almost a decade. It's been seven or eight years now.
Valve reports in valve time. There are no sources close to Valve. Either your source is valve or it is not a source at all. Either s/he revealed something or they didn't. They cannot allegedly reveal. The connection they are using is strenuous for even a rumour: valve (1) -> source (2) -> source convo partner (3) -> twice removed convo partner (4) -> news site (or possible further removed convo partners).
It's just bad reporting. I haven't seen any other website pick this up, not even kotaku and that is saying a lot.

Yes i understand what there doing and why your pissed, but how do you know if its true or not...you dont and neither do i. Its just a game, who cares if its fake or real news. We will all find out soon enough...
